Shanaise Williams is a Toronto based Storyteller, born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario where she grew up in a Jamaican household. She has a background in Documentary, Factual and Lifestyle Television, as well as Digital Content and Theatre Production.

 

In 2016 she graduated from Centennial College's, Broadcast Television and Filmmaking program. Since then she has gone on to work as a Story Editor, Writer and Digital Content Producer for shows such as True North Calling (CBC 2017), MasterChef Canada (CTV 2018), The Great Canadian Baking Show (CBC 2019), Big Brother Canada (Global 2019), Top Chef Canada (Food Network 2019) and Blown Away (Netflix 2020). 

Shanaise has been credited as a Writer and Performer on Theatre Productions such as 'Force Over Area' (Theatre Passé Muraille 2008), 'Step Right Up' (Theatre Passé Muraille 2010) and 'Face Value' (Factory Theatre 2009).

 

She is currently working on a Documentary Series about the underrepresentation of Black Professionals in Canadian workplaces.
